Blogging About Woodbury Commons - 9/29/08 -10/5/08
Oct 5th, 2008 | By Lisa | Category: Heard on the BlogsWoodbury Commons Premium Outlets are world famous and bloggers just LOVE to shop there. And being bloggers, they often write about their trips. I like to see who has been buying what at Woodbury Commons and so each week I’ll be finding bloggers who write about their shopping trips to the Outlet Mall!
Here is what we have for this week:
Shez from A Tayler girls rant rented a car to go to Woodbury Commons, what a great idea. Check out her post for more of this:
The shpoping was awesome, and there was some great bargins to be had, Megan got 2 pairs of sneakers for $70 for the pair, and Tony got some really nice short sleaved Quicksilver shirts for $10.48. We spent a good 5 hours shopping there before we needed to head back to NY to return the rental car.
Sounds like they had a great time shopping at Woodbury Commons!
Young Broke & Fabulous reminds us that Woodbury Commons can be dangerous on the wallet, even with all of the great bargains. Outlet stores offer great deals but you still have to manage to your budget!
MouseZ72 from mousez muses writes in Goodbye Singapore… Hello New York… that he will be spending “one full day of shopping at the Woodbury Common Premium factory outlet and White Plain Malls.”
The Times Online wrote an article called Lucia love: the beauty and bargains of outlet shopping which briefly mentioned Woodbury Commons: “took me to see the daddy of them all: Woodbury Common in upstate New York” (technically it isn’t really in upstate NY though).
Reena Qinghe from Bon Vivant wrote in So I Changed my Mind that Woodbury Commons is her “favorite shopping place in the whole world.”
In the Herald Online newspapers there was an article on economic aid to Belmont Park which included this reference:
They want to see hotels and shopping, maybe something like the Woodbury Commons in the south parking lot.” “We’d like to see outlets,” said Sandy Smith, chairwoman of the Elmont Coalition for Sustainable Development. “We’d like to see some nice quality restaurants. People could make a whole day of it.”
Sounds like a good day!
Do you like to shop at Woodbury Commons? Let’s be honest, who doesn’t?! If you do, make sure you write it up and let me know and I will include you in my Blogging About Woodbury Commons weekly feature post.
See you next week!
