Blogging About Woodbury Commons - 8/24/08 - 8/31/08
Aug 31st, 2008 | By Lisa | Category: Heard on the BlogsWoodbury Commons Premium Outlets are world famous and bloggers just LOVE to shop there. And being bloggers, they often write about their trips. I like to see who has been buying what at Woodbury Commons and so each week I’ll be finding bloggers who write about their shopping trips to the Outlet Mall!
Here is what we have for this week:
Vitatar from Sony Digital Camera Review Store mentions Woodbury Commons in passing, writing that he purchased his DSC-S70 at Woodbury Commons Premium Outlet Stores.
Soleslide does his thing for the US Economy, by spending like a maniac at Woodbury Commons.
At the styleforum, reader doctorj! documents his first visit to Woodbury Commons. Check out all of the fun he had:
The stores I visited were: Etro, Versace, St John, Chanel, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Zegna, Salvatore Fergammo, Tumi, Coach etc. After walking around until about 6pm, my wife was tired and was ready to throw in the towel. The last place we visited was a Burberry Sample Sale…..WHICH WAS AMAZING! I picked up a check cream color sports coat IN MY SIZE!!! for $150! They had a TON of trench coats for Men and Women for between $249 and $300. Amazing deals, but it was a mess and mayhem in the store. I was told they had large tote handbags earlier for $150 each, but they all sold out. The sales person told me they will get more items next week. The only thing that wasn’t cool was many items were damaged. I saw a gorgeous leather jacket that fit me, but it had a giant scratch on the arm. Even though it was $500 (orig retail was around $3k), I didn’t want to buy something damaged.
Finally, at the Handbag Discussion forums, reader Snoopy1 looks for some advice as to which outlet store to visit: Woodbury Commons or Jersey Gardens. I am happy to report that reader CaramelIX gave Woodbury Commons the thumbs-up! Reader Gizmo2000 wrote that Woodbury Commons is a great day-trip from New York City.
Do you like to shop at Woodbury Commons? Let’s be honest, who doesn’t?! If you do, make sure you write it up and let me know and I will include you in my Blogging About Woodbury Commons weekly feature post.
See you next week!
