Blogging About Woodbury Commons – 12/1/2008 – 12/7/2008
Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets are world famous and bloggers just LOVE to shop there. And being bloggers, they often write about their trips. I like to see who has been buying what at Woodbury Commons and so each week I’ll be finding bloggers who write about their shopping trips to the Outlet Mall!
Here is what we have for this week:
The Messy Medic writes about a black friday midnight shopping excursion that took a little longer than planned – a normal one hour drive took 4.5. Lots of other people with the same idea to go shopping at Woodbury Commons!
The Brilliant Brunette writes that she and some friends took an impromptu shopping trip to Woodbury Commons where she bought a “great black dress from J.Crew.”
Brooke Anthony tells a funny story of getting a surpise pickup by her mother to go shopping at Woodbury Commons. She sums her shopping experience up by writing, “the sales were good- I can’t deny that.”
Katsuhiro from the Teriyaki Blog writes about a fun week which including shopping at Woodbury Commons. katsuhiro wa arigato gozaimasu.
amyxha writes in her LiveJournal that she made two trips to Woodbury Commons and bought some gloves and scarves.
Ally mentioned Woodbury Commons in her great article Allison Abrams – The Ins + Outs Of Outlet Shopping at Running with Heels. Her recommendation is excellent, which I quote here:
My recommendation is to focus your time on shopping the outlets for designer finds, be it at the line’s own store (i.e. Etro, Cole Haan, Burberry, BCBG Max Azria, etc.) and/or the departments stores’ savings sanctuaries that stock them (i.e. Off 5th (Saks), Last Call (Neiman Marcus), or Barney’s New York outlet stores). Outlets can be overwhelming, so make a day of it and go prepared with a plan of which stores to seek out. If possible, choose a weekday, as weekends and holidays usually equate to long lines for the dressing rooms and registers. Be sure to hit up the visitor’s center for coupon books that offer extra savings for little or no cost.
Finally, I just had to mention this little tidbit from the QVC website. I think it’s great that people are sharing deals they see at Woodbury Commons and I would encourage all of you to do more of that. Let the world know the amazing deals you are getting at this premium outlet mall!

I love shopping at outlet stores. Not only are the prices better then other retail stores, but you often find unique clothing that was either unpopular at the main stores or brands that were specifically designed for the outlet stores so you are not wearing what everyone else is.
