Blogging About Woodbury Commons – 11/24/08 -11/30/08
Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets are world famous and bloggers just LOVE to shop there. And being bloggers, they often write about their trips. I like to see who has been buying what at Woodbury Commons and so each week I’ll be finding bloggers who write about their shopping trips to the Outlet Mall!
Here is what we have for this week:
A from Itty Bitty Goldfish Bowl says that “The keys to mom’s heart are to (1) take her to Woodbury Commons”. No wonder when she bought two nice new designer handbags! I wonder if it was Jimmy Choo?
Woodbury Commons was mentioned in this AP article entitled Weak economies may ground international shoppers. Quoting the article:
Rachel Dowling of Dublin, Ireland, came with a group of her friends to shop at Woodbury Commons, an outlet mall about an hour outside New York City with over 220 stores. The center works closely with tour operators and attracts shoppers from all over the world, especially Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Dowling, 22, came to buy clothes, purses and shoes at stores including Timberland, Guess, Adidas, Gap and Tommy Hilfiger.
“We decided to come only about a month ago because everyone was talking about how good the prices were,” said Dowling. “We’ve found lots of discounts so far, and we’re only halfway done.”
According to this article Thanksgiving night traffic wasn’t as bad as predicted: “Despite fears of late-night gridlock and bus companies adding Thanksgiving night routes to Woodbury Commons, police reported light traffic around the popular outlet mall Thursday night.”
This article mentions that Black Friday traffic started very early at Woodbury Commons.
Jenny wrote that she had a great time shopping all night like on Black Friday, even if she didn’t buy anything. Now that is a dedicated shopper!
Kaklong shopped the whole night of Black Friday with some friends. Wow, that does sound tiring!
