Woodbury Commons

Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets are world famous and bloggers just LOVE to shop there. And being bloggers, they often write about their trips. I like to see who has been buying what at Woodbury Commons and so each week I’ll be finding bloggers who write about their shopping trips to the Outlet Mall!

Here is what we have for this week:

Steve’s friend Katie brought over some gifts from Williams-Sonoma, and since he writes that she was late from returning from Woodbury Commons, then I’m guessing she got some great deals on those aprons!

HappyD from aozora was disappointed in the deals she found (or rather, didn’t find) at the outlet center during a 2.5 hour shopping break, but she still took some really cool fall color pictures so she got something anyway.

Shawne from Fabulous and Fit will be going up to The Commons with her friend Melissa and while it sounds like she just plans to walk I’ll bet she’ll get some discount shopping in!

In the article Downturn? What Downturn? published in the Times Harold-Record of Hudson Valley it was pointed out that sales at Woodbury Commons is strong and that many stores are hiring. Well duh! That’s because people want to get great discounts to save money in tough times. Why pay retail for that pair of Jimmy Choo shoes when you can get an amazing deal at an outlet shop?

Millicent from It’s All Make Believe Isn’t It? didn’t have any luck shopping at The Commons this week. She writes:

We headed West across New York State and North to Woodbury Commons, a high end fashion retail outlet complex. We arrived early and the place was almost empty. Alice and I have big expectations were slowly let down as we went into each department store and finding only small discounts, used items or just ugly cloths. We tried and tried to make the most of the Chloe, YSL, Gucci, Juicy Couture, Valentino, Missioni, TSL, Jimmy Choo etc stores but it was just useless. Alice and I finally left defeated without purchasing anything at all from the whole entire complex so headed to Walmart…
